Pentax

Why do you use Pentax?

I have been asked this question a number of times when out taking wildlife photos.
For some reason it is thought by many that you only have two choices Nikon or Canon.
When I was looking to buy my first Digital SLR camera, to me Pentax offered the best value for money, and as 99% of my photos are taken outdoors the weather sealing on the Pentax bodies and lenses was a real advantage.
A camera is a tool like a paintbrush or computer it will only do what you tell it to do. The camera you choose will not make you a better or worse photographer.
Don’t worry about what equipment you are using, go out take photos, practice and experiment, and above all enjoy!
